The short version
We collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and we tell you plainly what happens to it.
Who we are
Johannson Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 07760655), registered office: Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number ZC141258). Contact: privacy@johannson.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
- Enquiries. If you use our consultation form or email us, we keep what you send — name, business, contact details, your message — to deal with your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to you. Kept up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records. If you become a client, we keep the information needed to do the work and bill for it. Lawful basis: contract, and legal obligation for accounting records (kept 6 years, as HMRC requires).
- Calls to our phone line. Our number is answered by blowR, our AI receptionist. Calls are transcribed and the audio is held by our telephony provider, Twilio. The blowR privacy policy covers this in full.
- This website. No advertising or analytics cookies — only what’s strictly necessary for the site to work.
Who we share it with
No one buys, rents or borrows your data. We use a small number of service providers to run things — hosting by Netcetera, telephony by Twilio, AI processing by ElevenLabs and Anthropic — each bound by contract to handle data only on our instructions. Where data is processed outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy decisions or approved standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or move it elsewhere. Email privacy@johannson.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month, plainly. If we get it wrong, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk — though we’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
